Welcome on my homepage! (Version of 13.03.2003)

I like to hear 'good' music (see Music tips) in very good quality.

As this is not easy with a limited budget I'm engaged with loudspeaker development as a hobby (see also My background).

Besides tips & tricks for loudspeaker development that turned out during the years I also provide self-written software for loudspeaker measurement and calculation (see Download) that support me during development. For each level of knowledge there is something for you:

Some tips specially for Beginners,
Tips & tricks for loudspeaker development for those, who want to dive deeper into the fundamentels (appox. 30 (!) pages with physical background, in German only)
or just Tips for impatients, who want to get the most important tips without elaborate derivation.

Unfortunately a good loudspeaker alone does not guarantee enjoyment during listening. Besides the correct loudspeaker placement in the room (see Room acoustics) the quality of music recording (see Limitations of music recordings) is essential, too.
